Big Foot - Obsidian T/D Longbow This bow was designed with a traditional over tone in mind without giving up the high performance level. I'm using the same tried and true limb design as my "Splinter Kat" model with a longer lean riser shape here with all the edges knocked off.. This riser has a more uniform locator grip shape of days gone by, than the pistol shaped grip of the Splinter Kat. There are two riser lengths available. an 18" & 20". The 62" model will not accommodate more than a 28"-29" draw length. The 64" will draw to 30", the 66" & 68" models will draw to 32". I've lengthened the limbs proportionately for the 66" & 68" models to accommodate archers with 30"-32" draw and still maintain a good string angle. As with all my bows, I put extra time and effort into making sure these are all well balanced, smooth shooting bows, that don’t leave much performance on the table. The Base price on the "Big Foot Obsidian" start at $725.00 with Black glass limbs, bamboo cores, a G-10 I-beam as in the photos with the arrow head inlays, with, or without leather grips. Wood types used on stock bows are subject to stock on hand. Upgrades on clear glass over veneers on the limbs, or carbon backing is listed on the order page, as well as exotic hardwoods. I will have a list of available "in stock" hardwood available coming soon. *Note: All Obsidian risers will have the G-10 I-beam. Due to the long slim riser shape the extra reinforcement is necessary.
